“Dah Dah” is a prologue to “Enhena,” a Generative experiment inspired by karbandi and the multi-pointed stars of Iranian geometry. A decagon is repeated ten times at its vertices; one vertex opens and rotates around the center, and straight lines, through juxtaposition and overlap, conjure the illusion of curvature an order that slowly and continuously transforms, only to return to order again. Ten sides, ten iterations, ten frames per second. “Dah Dah” is a contemporary homage to tradition and an experiment in discovering new possibilities in design.
